Frequently Asked Questions

We specialize in customizing a wide range of challenge coins, including military challenge coins (for army, navy, air force, etc.), law enforcement coins (police, sheriff, FBI), corporate coins (brand promotion, employee recognition), club/association coins (biker clubs, sports teams), and commemorative coins (anniversaries, historical events, charity campaigns). We support diverse styles like 3D relief, enamel filling (soft enamel, hard enamel), dual-plating, and edge engravings (reeded, serrated, laser-cut patterns).

Our standard MOQ for custom challenge coins is 50 pieces. For small-batch needs (e.g., 20-49 pieces), we can also accommodate, but there may be a slight surcharge due to higher per-unit production costs. For orders over 500 pieces, we offer bulk discounts—feel free to contact our sales team for a detailed quote.

The total lead time typically ranges from 10-15 working days, which includes 2-3 days for digital proof design and confirmation, 7-10 days for production (casting, plating, enamel filling, polishing), 1-2 days for quality inspection and packaging, and transportation time. Please note that transportation time depends on your location. Rush orders (5-7 working days for production, excluding transportation time) are available for an additional fee, but we recommend confirming the full timeline (production + transportation) with us in advance, especially for complex designs (e.g., multi-layer 3D relief).

To ensure high-quality reproduction, we prefer vector files such as AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, or PDF (vectorized)—these formats allow us to scale the design without losing clarity. If you only have raster files (e.g., PNG, JPG, PSD), they must be high-resolution (at least 300dpi, with the design size matching the actual coin size). If you don’t have a finished design, our design team can help create one based on your ideas (e.g., logos, text, symbols) for a small design fee.

Yes, we offer multiple material and plating options to match your needs:
Base materials: Brass (most common, durable with good plating adhesion), zinc alloy (lightweight, suitable for 3D designs), and iron (cost-effective for large batches).
Plating finishes: Gold (24K, 18K), silver, copper, nickel, black nickel, antique gold/silver/copper (for a vintage look), and dual plating (e.g., gold accents on a silver base).
You can also add special effects like epoxy coating (to protect the enamel and add a glossy finish) or sandblasting (for a matte texture on specific areas).

First, we provide a high-definition digital proof (with color codes, dimensions, and material details) for your confirmation—you can request unlimited revisions until the design meets your expectations. During production, our quality control team conducts on-site checks (e.g., plating uniformity, enamel color accuracy, engraving depth) against the approved proof. Before shipping, we send photos/videos of the finished sample to you for final confirmation. If there’s any discrepancy, we will rework the order at no extra cost.

Yes, we provide various packaging solutions to enhance the presentation:
Standard options: Polyester bags (cost-free), velvet pouches (black, red, blue—ideal for gifting).

Customer satisfaction is our priority. If the finished coins have quality issues (e.g., wrong color, missing details, plating defects) that don’t match the approved proof, we will reproduce the order for free or offer a full refund—whichever you prefer. For subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., personal preference for a different texture), we can discuss reworking options (with a partial fee) based on the specific situation. To avoid misunderstandings, we strongly recommend confirming the digital proof and sample photos before mass production.
